Canada Immigration Programs

Economic and Business Immigration

  • Express Entry

is an online system that manages applications for three federal economic immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class. Skilled workers can create an Express Entry profile and receive a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on their work experience, education, language skills, and other factors. Those with the highest CRS scores receive invitations to apply for permanent residence.

  • Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs)

are programs run by individual Canadian provinces and territories. These programs allow provinces to nominate skilled workers who meet their specific labor market needs.

  • Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ)

is required for all immigration applicants who want to settle in the province of Quebec. Quebec has its own immigration programs, including the Quebec Experience Program (PEQ) for skilled workers with experience in Quebec, and the Quebec Investor Program (QIIP) for high-net-worth individuals.

Other Canada Immigration Programs

  • Family Sponsorship

allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their spouse, common-law partner, parents, grandparents, children, and other relatives to immigrate to Canada.

  • Caregivers Program

is for foreign nationals who have provided live-in care for children or people with medical conditions in Canada for at least two years.

  • Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)

is a pilot program designed to attract skilled workers and international graduates to Atlantic Canada (New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador).

  • Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP)

is a community-driven program that helps small communities in Canada attract and retain newcomers.

  • Agri-Food Pilot

is for experienced workers in the agriculture and food processing sectors who want to immigrate to Canada.
